The Saginaw Valley State University Regional Mathematics and Science Center is now accepting registrations for the Science and Mathematics Extravaganza for Kids (SMEK) summer camps, taking place the first two weeks in July on the SVSU campus.
Open to all students, these camps will include hands-on leaning with several building and science projects to test and experiment throughout the duration of camp.
The junior camp for students in grades 2-4 will run July 7-9 from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily with a cost of $120.
For students in grades 5-8, the senior camp will run July 13-17 from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily with a cost of $170.
Both camps include lunch, a daily snack and swimming or recreation time.
